IPFW Women Thumped At Michigan State

EAST LANSING, MICHIGAN – IPFW'S basketball women fell to 3-7 Sunday with a 64-36 loss at Michigan State.

Erin Murphy led IPFW with twelve points, while IPFW socring leadr Amanda Hyde was held to nine on 2 of 12 shooting from the field.

IPFW outscored Michigan State 25-24 in the second half, but a 40-11 deficit after the first 20 minutes put the Mastodons in a deep hole.

The Mastodons will host Detroit Mercy on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
