FORT WAYNE (indiana's NewsCenter) - Jacob Bushue netted the game winning goal in overtime that gave Indiana a 5-4 men's college soccer preseason win over Notre Dame at Parkview Field Saturday night.
The Irish had the only goal of the first half from Adam Mena, but the offenses got into gear in the second half with seven goals.
Harrison Shipp, Alex Priede, and Max Lachowecki scored for Notre Dame, and Joe Tolen twice, Kyle Sparks, and with five seconds left to tie it, Eriq Zavaleta for Indiana.
Before the game, it was announced that the powerful Chivas team pro team from Mexico will come to Fort Wayne for the August National Soccer Festival for matches with Notre Dame and Indiana at Hefner Field, with the possibility that the Iu match would be televised by the Fox Soccer Channel.
