Indiana Sweeps Ohio In Border Wars Games

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Indiana took contrasting wins from Ohio Saturday in the 30th annual Border Wars all star high school basketball games at Hutzell Center at Saint Francis.

Ariana Simmons scored 17 points and was named Most Valuable Player in the Indiana girls' 84-78 overtime win over Ohio, while Jackie Dixie added eleven points and ten rebounds and Aaliyah Gaines ten points.

Playing their last game as high school teammates, Bryson and Brenton Scott combined for 41 points to pace the Indiana boys' 125-108 win over Ohio, the 125 points being a Border Wars all time record.

The Scotts were named the Co-Most Valuable Players.
