FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Carter Rowney had a hat trick, including a pair of goals 15 seconds apart in the second period to help the Wheeling Nailers hand the Komets a 6-2 setback Friday night.

Scott Fleming got the Komets on the board first in the first period, and a John Dunbar score made it 2-1 Fort Wayne early in the second.

But Wheeling netted three straight in the second and finished off the K's with a pair in the third.

The Komets play in Cincinnati Saturday night.
