K's Salvage Final Game Of Weekend At Evansville (VIDEO)

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Mickey Lang banged home two more goals and the Komets this time held a lead to the end and took a 5-4 decision Sunday night at Evansville.

Scott Fleming put Fort Wayne on the board in the first period and Lang followed him for a 2-0 lead.

Evansville would then get two to pull even, and Lang would restore the lead with his second goal to make it 3-2 Komets after two.

Brandon Marino then snapped a 3-3 tie in the third, and Rob Kwiet followed him with an important insurance goal three minutes later.

The K's next see action in the traditional Thanksgiving night game against Florida on Thursday.
