FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - The Mad Ants say they will be patient and thorough in finding a replacement for now departed head coach Duane Ticknor.

Ticknor's leaving to become an assistant coach with the NBA Memphis Grizzlies, was both lamented and applauded by Mad Ants president Jeff Potter Wednesday.

Potter says he will have a hard time getting someone the likes of Ticknor, but that the NBA D-League is for getting coaches up the ladder as well as players and that he is happy for Ticknor.

Potter now adds looking for a coach to his plan for looking for players at the upcoming NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, and says there will be no rush to finding Ticknor's successor.
