Mad Ants Sweep Reno, Await Second Round Opponent (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind (21 Alive) – The Mad Ants have advanced to the semi-finals of the NBA Development League Playoffs with a 115-93 win over the Reno Bighorns Sunday night in Fort Wayne, sweeping the best of three series in two straight.

Tony Mitchell led the Mad Ants in scoring with 21 points, while Will Frisby scored 17 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter when the Ants outscored Reno 44-25 to pull away for the win, and the first ever playoff series win in Fort Wayne franchise history.

Sadiel Rojas netted 18 points, and Trey McKinney-Jones contributed 14 points for the Mad Ants

The Bighorns were led in scoring by Trent Lockett with 20 points.

The Ants will play the winner of the Canton-Sioux Falls series in the semifinals.
