UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - New Haven, Canterbury, Columbia City, Norwell, Woodlan. and Bluffton picked up Friday night boys basketball triumphs.

V.J. Beachem exploded for 27 points in leading New Haven to their 70-53 win at Blackhawk Christian with Beachem's future college coach at Notre Dame, Mike Brey, looking on.

Trent Van Horn rolled in 34 points, including number 1,000 of his high school carerer and piloted Canterbury's 55-48 win at Eastside.

Jayden Lilly led the Blazers with 25.

Drew Benedict kept up his hot early season scoring pace with 30 points to help push Columbia City to their 64-32 win over Northfield.

Derek Hinen backed Benedict with 13 for the Eagles.

Josh Vanmeter and Cam Denny each had 15 points and Norwell rolled to a 65-37 win at Whitko, with Gabe Powell scoring 17 for the Wildcats.

Jaylin Bennett had 14 points and Shawn McGettigan 13 in Woodlan's 59-52 success over Garrett.

The Railroaders got a game high 23 from Justin McCoy.

Bluffton pulled away from South Adams for a 67-44 win.
