Peoria Blanks TinCaps Behind Complete Game Mound Effort (VIDEO)

PEORIA, Illinois (www.innow.tv) - Tyrell Jenkins threw a route going three hit shutout to pace the Peoria Chiefs' 1-0 win over the TinCaps on Sunday.

The Caps were shut out for the first time in 2013, got just one hit after the first inning, and Fort Wayne starter Roman Mejia was the hard luck loser.

Casey Rasmus' run scoring single accounted for the game's lone run.

The three game series and six game road trip winds up Monday night in Peoria.
