SIOUX CITY, IOWA (www.incow.tv) - Three time defending national champ Northwestern of Iowa broke open a close game in the second half and ended Saint Francis run in the NAIA Division II Women's Tournament Saturday in the quarterfinals 87-77.
Brooke Ridley had 22 points and eleven rebounds for USF and Kayla Drake added 14 points, but they were two of four Lady Cougar starters to foul out of the game.
Saint Francis finishes its season at 32-4.
