FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Donovan Tate's first homer of the season and Jace Peterson's four hits were the big factors as the TinCaps rallied past the South Bend Silver Hawks 9-4 Sunday.
Peterson drove in two runs among those four hits, and Tate slammed a two run shot over the wall in left to lift the TinCaps lead to 6-3 in the sixth inning.
They trailed in the game at one point 3-0.
Yeison Asencio also drove in two runs for the Caps, who remain in a battle for a first half playoff spot, though the odds are long with just seven games left in the first half
