FORT WAYNE, Indiana (www.incnow.tv) - The TinCaps' hitting, defense, and pitching woes continued Sunday, though the team did get a split of their doubleheader with Lansing.

The Lugnuts plated the eventual winning run in the first game of the opener on a Fort Wayne throwing error and ended up a 3-2 winner.

The TinCaps then won the second game 3-2 with three first inning runs on RBI hits from Alberth Martinez, Gabriel Quintana, and Luis Domoromo, who also drove in a run in the first game.

But after the first inning, the TinCaps managed just two hits and had to hold on for the split.

The five game series wraps up Monday night.
