FORT WAYNE, Indiana (www.incnow,tv) - Diego Goris drove in the only run with a sixth inning grounder, and the TinCaps shaded the Cedar Rapids Kernals 1-0 Saturday night in front of 7,883 fans.

Bryan Rodriguez allowed six hits in a career long seven innings with five strikeouts and Trevor Gott got the final out in the ninth on a grounder with the bases loaded for his first save.

Rodriguez wiggled out of his biggest jam in the sixth inning by inducing a third to home to first double play grounder with the bases loaded to end the inning.

The two teams meet again Sunday.
