Wedge Hosts Baseball Clinic Before Returning To Work

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Seattle Mariners manager and Fort Wayne native Eric Wedge was back in his hometown this weekend hosting his annual baseball clinic for young players.

The former Northrop High School star has hosted the event for the past nine years, and in that time over three thousand young players ranging in age from grade school to high school have taken part, receiving instruction from Wedge and other coaches, and in the case of the high school players, being evaluated by college coaches.

Wedge says it is a thing he enjoys every year, just before he heads to spring training, as he will days from now heading to Arizona with his Mariners team.
