FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The waters turned green Saturday as the river greening tradition took place on the old Wells Street Bridge.
Bagpipers, Lucky the Leprachaun, and many of the St. Patrick's Day Parade attendees walked through Ewing Street to Superior and wrapped up on the old Wells Street Bridge. The greening of the St. Mary's River was all thanks to the Fort Wayne Firefighters as hydrant nozzles sprayed gallons upon gallons of green, eco-friendly vegetable dye. Kids were able to take part and hold the nozzle for a fun and exciting experience.
Different events, competitions, and live music with plenty to eat and drink will take place throughout the day. For more information on these St. Patrick's Day events, you can visit www.fortwaynegetgreen.com.
