JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (21Alive) – Authorities discover two victims pulled from a burning home Saturday afternoon died of gunshot wounds instead.

Police say Morgan J. Julius, 26, and Courtney R. Grimm, 27, were pulled from the southern Indiana structure fire that broke out around 2 p.m. Saturday.

Both victims were found in the bathroom by Jeffersonville firefighters who suspect someone committed arson to cover up the homicides.

Jeffersonville police are conducting an ongoing investigation.
