Family Dollar To Hire 350 For New Ashley Distribution Center

Ashley, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A new Family Dollar Distribution Center in Ashley could hire up to 350 people.

Family Dollar is expected to invest $70 million to build the facility, which would serve stores in the Midwest.

Ground will be broken this spring, hiring will start early next year and operations could begin next spring.

The state's Economic Development Corporation gave Family Dollar more than $2 million in tax credits and training grants to help lure the company's new facility here.
