FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Demand continues to be high throughout Fort Wayne for apartment and home rentals.
The Hunt Club Apartments, off Illinois Road, are at 100 percent capacity.
Managers there say other Fort Wayne properties owned by their parent company also have very few vacancies.
They cite a number of factors, including the slow housing market and new GM workers that have come to the area.
Hunt Club Property Manager Teresa Phillips says, “All of those employees coming in, we also have a lot of people with the housing market, in between homes, maybe looking to get out of their home to lower their budget. It definitely is great that we're at 100 percent, most communities typically don't hit 100 percent.”
Along with apartment rentals, the rental "home" market in Fort Wayne has also been strong.
