INDIANAPOLIS (www.incnow.tv) – Major interstate highways are closed around Indianapolis due to a semi-truck accident.
If you're headed south this weekend, be aware that sections of two major interstate highways near downtown Indianapolis have been shut down.
An oversized truck hit a bridge Friday, damaging one of its steel beams. The state transportation department closed I-70 Eastbound and I-65 Northbound.
Engineers say they hope to have the bridge repaired over the weekend, meaning the highways may re-open by Monday morning.
