NIPSCO Proposes Rate Change

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Officials want to hear from you about a proposed rate change for Nipsco customers.

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission will take public comment on a proposed rate change Monday night at the Grand Wayne Center.

The natural gas provider is asking for a $20 monthly charge to pay for operating, maintenance and infrastructure cost.

The utility is also seeking a 6.9% increase from residential customers.

Indiana's NewsCenter will be live from the public hearing tonight at 5:30 and 6.
