FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Students from Fort Wayne Community Schools got to show off their talents through artwork and essays.

The History Center presented “Artwork and Essays” Saturday afternoon during the annual PTA Council's Reflections and Citizenship Essay Showcase.

The Reflections theme was "Believe, Dream, Inspire" and was open to kindergarten through 12th graders.

FWCS students were able to express themselves through literature, visual art, or photography.

The essay contest, which was open to 4th – 12th grades, was titled "How can you make a difference in other people's lives?" The works on display will be sent to the State competition later this spring.
