FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - After a very wet Thursday night, in which some places saw months worth of rain in a 24-hour period, things have been much drier today. Still, there is the possibility of the rain in the area tonight. Most of the rain will be scattered and light and stay south of the area. Over the weekend, we will see plenty of heat and humidity, but for most of the time, we will stay rain-free. There is a small chance of rain on Saturday, but things will be mainly dry. As for the heat, it will be an issue through the first part of next week, and then it will cool down late in the week.
