FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The sun made a return today. It didn't warm us too much, with highs for most of the area staying in the 60s, but it was good to have it back. Thursday will give us a some sunshine too, but it will start to fade late in the day, as we see the chance of rain return to the region late in the day. That chance will get better into Thursday night and then Friday too. During that stretch, we will become much cooler. Highs on Friday will return to the 60s and by the weekend, highs will only be in the 50s. It is October now, and much of the forecast period will cool and damp - which is typical for this time of year.
