FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - After a very humid stretch of weather that has included showers and thunderstorms in parts of the area almost everyday, things have changed today. We are much more comfortable with a good amount of sunshine and completely dry conditions around the region. This weather will last for one more day, but then things will change on Friday, as heat and humidity return to the area. At the same time, we will see scattered showers and thunderstorms. The chance of that rain will be with us Friday through Sunday. Labor Day itself is looking dry and even big chunks of the entire holiday weekend will include dry time. Into next week, we will see temperatures remain above normal, but not as hot as Friday and Saturday, which should be the warmest days of the next week or so.
