(Fort Wayne) - Bishop Luers raced to a 35-0 halftime lead and trounced Northwestern 42-14 Friday night for the 2A regional football title at Luersfield.
The Knights built a 14-0 lead on two Lawrence Barnett punt return touchdowns, and then scored on their first three full possessions to pull away.
Isaac Baker ran for two scores, and Quinn Schafer passed for two others.
The Knights advance to play at Lewis Cass in the 2A semistate.
