Blackhawk, Canterbury, Elmhurst Advance: North Side, Huntington North Out

(Undated) - Dayton Merrell's 18 points propeled Blackhawk Christian to a 56-51 semifinal win Friday night at the 1A Hamilton sectional.
The Braves will meet Canterbury in the final after the Cavaliers topped Lakewood Park 67-57 led by Nick Lewis' 21 points.
That final has been moved back to Monday night because of the Canterbury girls participation in the 1A girls state finals on Saturday.

In 4A at Marion, the host Giants ended the season for North Side with a 74-47 win, with Justin Jordan's14 points leading the Redskins.
Marion will play Jay County in the final Saturday night after the Patriots pounded Huntington North 60-38.

At Peru in 3A, Elmhurst won a close battle from Norwell 37-34, and will face Peru, a 59-53 winner over Wayne in Saturday's final.

The 2A sectional semifinals at Garrett Friday night were postponed to Saturday night, with Garrett and Eastside meeting at 6, and Prairie Heights and Churubusco following them. The final will be Monday at 730pm.
