INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Adam Wiese of Perry Meridian completed
16-of-21 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns to lead the
South to a 34-14 victory in the North-South All-Star Classic
football game.
South teammate Jewel Hampton of Warren Central returned a
kickoff 97 yards for the South's second touchdown.
The South never trailed after Wiese hooked up with Tandon Doss
of Ben Davis for a 65-yard touchdown pass on the game's first play
from scrimmage.
Wiese also threw touchdown passes to Jordan Brewer of Carmel and
Jared Blue of Vincennes.
Colton Cooper of Danville threw a TD pass to Kyle Dietrick of
Indianapolis Chatard for the other South score.
Quarterback Alex Sarkisian of Valparaiso scored on a four-yard
run for the North and Tim Fogarty of Lafayette Jefferson passed 30
yards to Brady Young of Delta.
