Invention Convention: The Mother Scrubber Scooter was just one of the amazing designs demonstrated today at Canterbury School. Each fall the third grade studies spend about a month studying simple machines such as levers, pulleys, wheels and incline planes for the past month. They used simple machines to come up with inventions of their own and demonstrated them today in front of the whole third grade and some parent guests. Some other inventions included puppy lifters, trash haulers, a magnetic dog walker, pet toy tossers, boat lifters, a sundae topper, pet self-feeders, an automatic door closer, a page turner and laundry lifters.
Evan Stoddard makes last second adjustments on his toy tosser invention Thursday during Cantbury Schools Invention Convention.
