My son Rob is 16 and wanted to be in the Walk a Mile in her Shoes walk and The Autism Walk (he is Autistic) So when both walks were on the same day we thought we were ok..until the Autism Walk time changed. We woke up early, went and picked up his pretty red pumps at Headwaters Park and after he was counted for the walk, we headed out to the Allen County fairgrounds so he could do the Autism Walk... In his pumps. He did both walks at once! I have never been more proud!

As a staff member of the Women's Bureau, Rob we thank you! WIthout dedicated members of the community the Walk a Mile In Her Shoes event would not have been possible.
