Last year, my son Eli wanted to be Bumblebee from the Transformer movie. After looking at the Transformer costumes you can buy in the store, I was really disappointed that the costumes were just a printed fabric costume with a mask. It's a Transformer! Surely it should do something!
So, I decided to make a Transforming Transformer costume for Eli. I used a box, foam, felt, and LOTS of duct tape and hot glue. When he is in car form, he is actually kneeling on his forearms and knees.
