weird moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

friday night early sat morning around 1-1:30 am a friend called and said hey you have to go outside and look at the moon! and this is what i saw! Cant explain it but thought it was the weirdest and neatest thing i have seen i awhile so i took some pictures of it also got one picture that i cant explain what was in it when everything else was ok????

This halo effect occurs when tiny ice crystals fill the sky. See this site for further enlightenment.

Its called a moonbow. In Hawaii on the outskirts of the island where there was little light these happen often.

the wierd lights in the 3rd picture is an anomaly often found when taking pictures in the dark and scorce of light can cause it like street lights i am a paranormal investigator people often think that is paranormal

It's what happens when the weather is about to start getting worse... the halo gets more noticeable. It's just moisture in the sky reflecting the light.

it's commonly called a "snow moon". as a previous writer commented, it's when the ice crystals in the air reflect the moonlight.
