Join us on May 28, 2011 as we show thanks and appreciation to those that serve in our military, our Veterans, and our First Responders.
There will be a Biker ride in, speeches of support, displays, including The Indianapolis Colts In Motion, Police and Fire equipment, Veterans information, music by Sherry Marquelle, a live band; and Amateur Radio communication to our Veterans and Troops.
Several events in various locations nationwide will also join us via Ham Radio, such as one at The VA Hospital near Ft. Hood, Texas, and from the west coast at American Legion Posts.
There will be food and fun for everyone at this family friendly event.
Proclamations from Governor Mitch Daniels, Mayor Henry, and The Allen County Commissioners will be read. There will also be appearances by many local, county, state; and federal elected officials.
Please come out and help us thank those that serve us, and let them know that we support them.
There will be a special salute to the Fallen, and much more during this event.
The event will be held at The Classic Cafe / Post 499 on Hillegas Road from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the fun and exhibits with your family as we pay tribute to our Troops, Police and Firemen, and First Responders.
We also plan to have a call in number for you to leave messages of thanks to our Troops which will be aired later that day to them.
