A Toastmasters Open-House
Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Ivy Tech’s Coliseum Blvd. campus auditorium.
The open house begins with social time at 6:30 PM, program begins at 7 PM.

With featured speaker: Sandy Thompson
A popular television personality in the Fort Wayne area, Sandy Thompson will be the featured speaker at the Toastmasters open house. She is the host of the PBS show Senior Spotlight, and the former weather specialist for WANE TV for over twenty-three years. Sandy Thomson was named Broadcaster of the Year by the National Weather Association in 1999. She will speak about her experiences in broadcasting and the importance of effective communication in our lives.

Observe a sample Toastmasters meeting; including a short speech, table topics (impromptu speaking), and evaluation. If you have ever considered Toastmasters, this is a great opportunity to see what we do.
Toastmasters is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to better speaking and leadership.
