The Fort Wayne Railroad Society Museum off Edgerton Road in New Haven, IN hosts a great treasure for all railroad buffs and those interested in transportation history. The recent refurbishment of the 765 Nickel Plate Steam Engine is a sight to see. We received a wonderful history lesson while visiting, finding out a steam engine had a crew with support just as a Air Force bomber crew. (More folks envolved other than the friendly engineer and conductor who waved at us at all the railroad crossings!)
We appreciated the passion of the members of the Fort Wayne Railroad Society for keeping railroading a "Living History".
