My husband is working in Roanoke, VA. He took this photo with his cellphone this morning. He says that everything shuts down in the area when they get 1/2" of snow. Most schools were closed before the snow even started falling around 5 AM this morning, mostly due to the hills and mountains in the area, making travel in slick conditions quite treacherous.
