I was a young child that year, it was the coolest thing I ever saw, looking out and see drifts as high as our roof. All the neighbors worked together to get each other shoveled out and take a snowmobile to the store. We had a cool snowfort.

It was awesome, we didnt have school for 3 weeks. Played in the snow. We had the biggest snowman in the city and a really cool snow fort. We also jumped from the roof of the house off into the snow. The drift was so big that we didnt need a ladde

I was 6 yo, what a magical time! Being so little made the snow seem even deeper. I remember making the base of a snowman so big I had to get my grandpa to help me roll it. Of course we couldnt lift the snowmans midsection so we never finished it LOL
