Susie Hansbarger, Regional Marketing Manager for Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, recently presented a $20,266 check to Mary Pat Leonard, Socials Director in Fort Wayne for the American Heart Association, to help further the association’s mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The money was raised by Applebee’s during American Heart Month when it hosted fundraisers in all its Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio stores. The money will benefit the association’s Go Red For Women campaign which helps fund lifesaving research, community education and advocacy efforts targeting women.
