Church Opening Starts By Helping Others

Southwinds Church, located on Dicke Rd. between Covington and Aboite Center Rd. on Ft. Wayne's Southwest side is celebrating the completion of their new church building with a Building Dedication Kickoff Weekend. The activities begin on Friday March 14th with a free family movie night for the community. A Family Friendly cartoon will be shown with free drinks and popcorn. The public is invited. This event is to welcome the community as well as collect food items for "Unto Others" a local food pantry oragnization. Movie goers are asked to bring a non perishable food item to the movie night. Southwinds hopes to have a Free Family Movie each season as part of their outreach to the community. On Sunday, March 16th Southwinds will hold their Building Dedication Worship Service. There will be worship and praise to God for the new facilities as well as a catered lunch, open house tours, and children's activities. Southwinds Church is located at 3410 Dicke RD.
