Northrop High School CANstruction RAP

This is a video that was created to play at the Fort Wayne CANstruction awards banquet. Two Students from Northrop took a popular rap song and changed up the lyrics a bit. The Images in the background of the video reflect some of the process leading up the creation of the project.
CANstuction is an annual event taking place at Glenbrook mall. If you are interested you CAN go to http://www.canstructionindiana.org/
This years CANstruction theme that all projects needed to follow was titled “Hunger is No Laughing Matter”. Northrop decided that they wanted to make a stand up comedy stage, with no comedian. Northrop titled their project: “Stand Up to Hunger”.
Northrop set a new record for the even in the most amount of cans ever donated. Northrop donated over ten thousand cans of food.
At the awards, Northrop received two awards in the “Peoples Choice” and “Most Cans” Categories. No other school received 2 awards.
The entire Canstruction project was a large success this year and will be continuing for years to come. Enjoy.
