Operation Foundation began with a small idea. "Wouldn't it be great if we could get a group of people to go on a mission trip right here in Ligonier?"
That small idea turned into something much, much greater. As Mayor Patty Fisel put it, "Little is much when God is in it."
Last year, 242 volunteers donated over 3500 hours of their time throughout the week. In the process, buildings were repaired, sidewalks were swept, and more importantly, cultural bridges were built.
Please consider being a part of Operation Foundation | 2008 as we seek to further God's kingdom and strengthen the community that we are so blessed to be a part of.
For more information, we have developed a website (www.OperationFoundation.com) where you can watch the promotional video and read more about it. We have already gotten word that several politicians will be visiting this year, including Matt Bell, Marlin Stutzman, and hopefully Congressman Souder.
