eBay Cancels Top Rated Accounts

Ebay makes changes to their requirements seasonally, and, with recent updates, a seller with nearly 100% positive feedback no longer meets requirements. Our eBay Store, MansfieldFW, no longer meets the requirements and our account will be cancelled at the end of the month even though our feedback is 98.6% positive. This is happening to hundreds of other sellers and many are leaving eBay due to their poor practices. When our store opened in 2005, we could have been spokespeople for eBay and were excited to tell everyone about how great of a company it was. Unfortunately, eBay has changed nearly every aspect about their website and policies opening the door for many new companies to cut into their stake. If they continue down the same road, within only a few years, eBay will no longer be a leading auction and sales website worldwide or even in the United States.

You can earn your Top Rated Seller status back. It's incorrect to say that they've cancelled your account: it's still active. I lost my TRS because of tardy shipping for a consignor whose items were off-site, but I'm on track to earn it back.
