Jayme Patterson's dream of a Field of Honor in Akron(IN) saluting her late husband, Sgt. Nicholas J Patterson who was killed on Sept. 10 in Iraq came to pass this week. More than 200 flags were placed in a field north of the Akron Elementay in memory of her husband and other veterans who have served or are serving in our military. The flags will fly from July 3 until July12.
