All Americans can Cool off after the Rains on a Hot Summer Day

The SMART American Quarter Horses.!!!!

7-8-08; The SMART American Quarter Horses of the U.S.A. know how to enjoy a "HOT" Day turned Cooler and nice Rains. Here Freckles, Jiggers, & Buckie all enjoying the cooling off of the rains, that brought Cooler weather for them to enjoy. The previous owner of Freckles said that, Freckles did not like water. She could never get him to go into water. Now he is with us. My daughter (Tafi McCann) had purchased Freckles for her son Dane. To maybe show in LaGrange County Fair next year. Freckles has 2 new friends, besides Dane. Freckles, No doubt, is enjoying his new home, here on our rural Edon,Ohio Farm. Tafi and Dane need to build fences before Freckles can go live with them. So meanwhile, Freckles has to live at NaNa & Daddo's.
However, I was so surprised that I had caught Freckles & Buckie, with Jiggers admiring their will, that they both laid down in the waters and rolled...WOW.!!!..What a Cool down, of sort. In fact, 2 years ago, it was Dane and his older brother, Austin Whitcomb, that played in this same water way, after a simular, down pour of rains...WOW..That was quite a Cool down for them too..
After Cooling down, the horses went back out to the pasture. They ran some, they bucked and kick up their heels some. Then they ran some more, Playing with each other. After calming down from their Horse Play, then they went back to doing what Horses do. Grazing...But now with some extra moisture on their grasses. Then they enjoyed the rest of the Cool evening....
