We complain about the heat here in Fort Wayne, but thousands of our family members serving in Iraq are enduring the terrible summers there. Here pictured are L-R, 1st Lt. Chris Silbaugh, 1st Lt. Billy Singer, and 1st Lt. Timothy Kanyuh (my husband) surviving the nearly daily onslaught of the sandstorms. The daily temps there reach 120 degrees right now. They are serving our country with the Indiana National Guard 1-151st batallion, stationed at Camp Speicher, Iraq. God bless our troops.

I am Timothy Kanyuh's proud aunt and am praying -- on my knees -- daily for his safety and for that of his family back in Fort Wayne, Indiana. May God bless and keep Tim Kanyuh!
