I recently received an phone call from an unknown number that left me an automated voicemail. The message stated a telephone number and then a woman's voice said that she was calling from Three Rivers Federal Credit Union and that my card had been suspended. She instructed me to call the security office at this number to get my card reactivated. I have never had an account with Three Rivers FCU. I mentioned the strange phone call to my sister who said that she had received the same phone call earlier this morning; she also has never had an account with them. I then talked to another friend who received this call; he has not had an account with them in years. The numbers were as follows: 937-424-9846, 415-287-3798. These area codes are from Dayton, Ohio and San Francisco, California. I did not call the numbers back, but I thought it sounded unusual and was probably a scam.

I just recieved one of those calls .. 10 mins later my husband got one... It is 1 am and I know 3 rivers hasn't got anyone working this late ... Called my daughter's phone just now too ... The area codes were different on all 3 calls...

I just received a call on my land line from this scam, I do not have an account with them The number was 269-932-1300 Out of Michigan

We had a similair "text" message on our cell phone claiming the same, only ours was from Salin Bank. We have no accounts there.

WE ALSO RECEIVED THE PHONE CALL. THE MESSAGE WAS LEFT ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE AT OUR HOME SO IT DOESN'T JUST INVOLVE CELL PHONES. I DID CALL THE 415 NUMBER TO SEE EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED BUT WAS TOLD THE PARTY I WAS TRYING TO REACH WAS UNAVAILABL
