This photo was taken while I was seated inside my front room. We had just received a heavy rain and I was admiring the floors in the front yard. I had my camera in hand, hoping to catch a picture of a butterfly or two...instead I was visited by a hummingbird! I snapped as many shots as I could with my point and shoot camera. He was gone too soon...

Update to posting: Typing error-I was admiring my "flowers", not floors. After reading more about hummingbirds, I believe this is a photo of a female. Thanks for allowing me to share my snapshots with you.
