On August 5th, 2008, the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne celebrated its 150th Anniversary by hosting an event called "Strong Kids Field Day." The event was held at the YMCA's Camp Potawotami and was from 10am-2pm. All of the summer camps from the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne's Association came together for a day of fun, fellowship and play. There were various field events according to age group. This is an example of how the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne builds strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
