This sunflower that my husband Bob Schofield who is 5'9" is standing in front of grew from a seed dropped last year by the birds hense the term volunteer.We measured it to be apporximately 13 ft tall it has so many flowers we stopped trying to count.We had to put a bungy cord around the top so the wind would not blow it over.
