Pierceton Elementary School fourth graders in Mrs. Nash's class discussed the meaning of Patriots' Day. Most of them were 1 or 2 years old on 9/11/2001. This was the first time many of them had heard the story, and they were very moved. The learned to perform "God Bless America" and shared it with several classes at Pierceton Elementary.
