On October 12, 2008 an NFL Flag Football team made up of Fort Wayne athletes headed to Buffalo, NY to play in the Regional Tournament. Allowing only 6 points to be scored on them through the entire tournament, they captured the championship and advance on to play in the National Tournament of Champions to be held at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida on November 22, 2008.
