In the spirit of our Holiday decorating!

These pictures were taken this past weekend.(December 6th) I have 2 children (Damon & MiKayla) who live with my husband and I and then I have a step-son (Alexander) who we have every other weekend, holidays, and summer vacations. Alex loves Christmas time and can hardly wait each year to get out all of the decorations and put up the tree. This year MiKayla and Alex wanted to put up most of the tree themselves (with a little help from us). Alex was bound and determined that he wanted to get the top of the tree on himself with a little boost from his step-sister (MiKayla). Once the tree was all put together they thought it would be fun to include Meiko (the family dog) in some fun Christmas pictures. I'm not sure that Meiko enjoyed participating in the pictures quite as much as the kids enjoyed them, but he was a good sport about it. Christmas is always a very special time of year at our house, and it reminds us how very blessed we are to be able to celebrate such a special holiday together as a family.
